Hey There
I, like Path Uncertain, am not one thing but many. I am a writer, gong practitioner, naturalist, wanderer, dreamer and lover of stories.
I have written and published several children's narrative meditations across insight timer, yoto and other online platforms with the most popular ones having received thousands of plays. I facilitate a writer's group, run writing events, write poetry for adults and stories for children.
I am a qualified gong practitioner and member of the College of Sound Healing having completed their accredited year-long course which gave me a deep insight into the transformative power of sound and vibrational healing.
I have a deep love of nature and believe that all things begin and end there. I co-founded a landscape architecture practice which explores the link between nature and health and the creation of ecologically sensitive and regenerative landscapes. I also write for an industry magazine on themes of nature, ecological land use and landscape more widely.
In a previous life, I worked as a mental health professional in both a therapy setting and as a lecturer at the University of Essex where I grew my interest in the link between nature and health.
I am a sensitive, wild introvert, who seeks silence, open fires, cups of tea and long walks. I love to laugh, sing, dance, catch and record moths and listen to the sound of the sea. I am a reluctant but protective beekeeper, wildly inept allotmenter, mother to two wildlings and collector of stories.
My vision for path uncertain is to create softer, warmer, gentler spaces for the softer, warmer and gentler among us.
You are so welcome here.
Katie
